A Design That Challenges Stability.
We continued our previous collaboration with student Tereza Halamová and contributed to her new thesis project titled "Equilibrium". In collaboration with us, handcrafted wine and champagne glasses made of borosilicate glass were created, deliberately defying traditional stability. The traditional stem is replaced by a glass bead – the glass itself does not stand on its own and seeks its balance point. Stability is provided by the casing, which also serves as the base and an integral part of the product. This resulted in a series that considers potential serial production. The project once again combines craftsmanship with a bold design concept.
