Glass town 2010
4th annual volume of Glass town affirmed again it´s important possition in activities of town Zelezny Brod. From inexhaustible amount of successful actions let us remind among the other things 5th international conference : History of glass and bijou production“ where many specialist from this field actively participated, traditional glass market, exhibition celebrating 90th jubilee from establishment of the high school of applied arts for glassmaking in Zelezny Brod, reunion of school leavers,exposition of contemporary artists, charity auction or outdoor handicrafts exhibitions.
An active participation of our company on the welfare of this event is already established, we had a stand on Male namesti square where was possible to try glass blowing and a lecture about Zeleznobrodsko region and borosilicates on scientific conference. Our company glass shop was opened during whole duration of the glass town and the visitors plentifully took advantage of the chance to buy items from our production. We were also pleased about the results of auctioneers, all the items which we have given to the charity auction were auctioned off , the price of some of them increased multiply.
